Windows 2003 不能使用MD5Cng的解决方法

最近改造了一下QQ机器人, 用到了 MD5Cng (Dim MD5 As New MD5Cng) 来计算MD5值, 但是放到服务器里面运行时候发现报错 “System.PlatformNotSupportedException” , 于是 MD5Cng 就不能用了。

经过尝试发现 MD5CryptoServiceProvider (Dim MD5 As New MD5CryptoServiceProvider) 却可以使用 (Dim MD5 = MD5Cng.Create() 没试) 。

这是为什么呢?
